work out
have good posture
wear simple clothes that fit well

If you want to be a model, you either have to be really good looking and get scouted on the street (don't rely on this unless you live in a big city), sign up to modelling agencies and get connections. It will probably be fairly easy to get some shitty modelling gigs. Just don't expect to be doing anything fancy and be prepared to get paid nothing without a stable income.
