From a few years of lurking I've seen a fair number of people looking to start their own clothing brand, I'm curious as to know if anyone has actually done it, and if so, how it turned out.

I did once when I was in high school, I sold about 15 shirts to my friends. Pretty cool I guess, I made around 70 bucks

any1 with this sort of goal would quickly move to reddit or sf as it would be much easier to spread the word.

its just people starting up their shitty bigcartels selling post-grunge / anime / internet culture references gildan print tees for some stupid markup
seldom do they ever leave the ground
It turned out alright, but I rushed into printing things before I had any idea where I wanted to go with it ascetically. I had to scrap a bunch of shit that would have been embarrassing to release thus wasting time and money. Now I mainly make things for myself instead of trying to pump out shit to make profit.

Nobody wants your logo printed on a shirt.
