Asocial and antisocial aren't the same thing. To be asocial is to refuse to participate in society, while to be antisocial is to disregard the laws and norms of society.This can be anything from something like staying out after curfew or cutting class, to full blown felonies.
So asocial is that guy that doesn't want to go out on the weekends after work or the NEET who stays inside all day watching animu; antisocial is the thugs/gops/chavs you see mugging an old lady and breaking into cars for their stereos.
