Feel free to call me whatever but
advice for someone who has a really hard time being adventurous? Or really buying clothes at all? I'm always too afraid to buy anything really because I'm worried what people think, worried that I'll wear clothes above my social status if that makes any sense.
But if you don't wanna talk about that, post fashion pics that you really like.

What you're saying makes sense. If wearing a type of clothing makes you uncofortable, you gotta either let it go and wear more conformist fits (which isn't a bad thig if they're nice) or deal with it and wear adventurous shit. How I dealt with it is buying stuff and going around in it in my apartment. It may sound stupid but looking at yourself in the mirror in clothes you're not sure about helps. The just go out to do groceries in it. Small steps is the way

This quote is like a fucking stab wound rn because it's half 11 in the morning and there's literally so much work to do but I simply can't get out of bed because I'm so depressed. Indifference isn't real

You sound like a good person, OP, and I understand what you're saying. This will seem like it's coming at your question from a weird direction, but are you the kind of person who can talk to just random homeless people on the street? I recommend going out of your way and pushing yourself to do that. Just always be thinking of how perceived social status is a filthy lie, only believed in my pompous, unforgiving assholes. So, just have a single dollar or two in one of your pockets, and next time you walk past a homeless person, simply say, "Hi." Acknowledge them, acknowledge that they exist. They'll be surprised and they'll be friendly, and if you feel like it wouldn't be offensive to them, before you walk away just say, "Oh hey, I've got a dollar, if you can use it." And hold it out to them. It's a good way to establish a friendly and understanding outlook. You'll find that you feel comfortable with yourself when you have this attitude. Strange sounding perhaps, but true. You can wear whatever clothes you decide on, no matter how nice they are, but just have a humble, friendly attitude, and that makes ALL the difference in the world. You'll see. Be friendly to doctors, teachers and all upstanding citizens you encounter, and be equally friendly and kind-hearted to super down-and-out people. Be courteous to one and all, regardless of station in life. Please anon, the world needs more good people, and your anxiety seems to indicate that you're one of them.
