I got an alpha industries ambrose parka (pic) a couple weeks ago. It's a nice looking coat, but it's kinda baggy (I'm 6'3", 145 lbs. and got a medium; woulda returned it for a small but I got it on sale and medium was the only size left) and not very warm
What should I wear under it? More than just a shirt and sweater I mean. A denim jacket? A quilted bomber? Should I get a M-65 liner from Alpha too?
Advice apprecriated/post parka layering pics if you got em
1. Ruminate on what possessed you to buy a medium from AI when you're a goddamned skeleton
2. Get a military-esque liner for it. Quilted bomber or m65, as you mention, would work fine.

the length is actually just right, usually I don't get coats in mediums cuz the arms are too short

Buy a navy blue M-65 liner from Alpha Industries, also in size medium. The liners are very cool on their own, too, and plus they don't have a collar to get in your way.
