Been lurking around here for quite awhile and their seems to be a complete disconnect between fashion plebs and those who are actually interested in fashion and arent constantly plagued by their own insecurity
The secret is to create a new board dedicated towards basic questions where shitters can ask whether their jawline sucks all fucking day long on whether hypebrand X is 'effay' or not. Things that are boring enough that won't be notable if seen in public but people are still too scared to wear without thinking that everyone is judging them. This new board will be called mild fashion advice or /mfa/ for short.

/fa/ might as well change its name to /cl/ - clothes
theres literally nothing you can do about people who'd rather discuss uniqlo drops, h&m, gildan etc.
most of this board will never be able to justify spending more than x amount on a single piece of clothing because of either a lack of appreciation holistically to fashion or just having a poorfag mentality, all of which leads to :
>"why buy x if you can get basically the same thing for cheaper?"
>"lol stop showing off your trust fund" in response to someone buying something from literally apc
boards dead dude, never has it been less about fashion than now

heh hehehehe
thx m8 fer the chuckles

>talks about others being insecure
>alienates others
obviously, totally, completely not because OP needs to put others down to feel good about themself
fashion is inherently insecurity based. It's all about exclusivity and alienation

Fashion is about having fun and making girls feel like shit
>>12110281
>short zinger that sounds good and is ostensibly true
orrr fashion could be about materials, design and craftmanship?

This.
There can be artistic qualities to fashion. It's not all about /effay/ memes and stuff. Many high fashion designers wouldn't exist or have a following if it was just alienating people and covering your insecurities. That doesn't absolve high fashion from being absurd and frequently elitist though. They're definitely good at that.
