oxford and derby shoe-brand suggestions please.
read the sticky, but most brands aren't available in germany. i tried the allen edmonds stuttgarts but they fit horrible on my kind of feet.
range <420€.
try church's
idk if quality has actually dropped since being bought by prada, but don't trust the fuckwits that are gonna spout off without having ever owned a pair pre/post prada
Dude, multiple stores here carry AE. Plenty of local shoemaker collaborate with them. What's your nearest bigger town?
Otherwise, consider British labels, or even Italian.

Sorry, bad reading comprehension.
What model AE were you trying and what exactly didn't fit? As for other brands, there's church's, green, loake that should be easy to get here in Germany.

I've had trouble with some AE models myself, for me it was my instep. The shoe was crushingly tight at the instep, and from what I read, European made shoes tend to have a higher instep, while american dress shoes often come with a lower instep.
What I did was to go up in width on AE, and everything was fine thereafter.
I'm not familiar with Hannover sadly, only the FFM area.
