Can we have a little finasteride thread?

Bump for interest. Sick of stressing over my hair

I've been on it for over a year. I have had some overall thickening of my hair with some regrowth on my hairline. My hair loss was very minor when I started and I wanted to keep it that way, so I got on Finasteride before it became noticeable. No sides. I take 1.25 mg a day; 5 mg pills split into 4ths, this is the cheapest route to go.

I have also been using dermarolling and minoxidil over the last 4 months, although I am debating dropping it since it is an over kill for my stage of the game and might not even be really doing anything.

Don't read into the horror stories. I'll probably post some before and after pictures of my hair in a bit.

Been on fin for maybe 6 months now. Can see the tiny hairs growing back in on my hairline. By far the best effect of treatment was eliminating the constant scalp itch I had previously. Also a very slight absolute reduction and overall lightening of body hair is a bonus. Only major sides I've noticed is a slight puffiness to my nipples. I'd say 98% of people wouldn't even notice, but it was a change for me nonetheless. I'd recommend anyone worried about losing hair to at least give Fin a try.

Debating dropping minoxidil and dermarolling as I don't think it's causing enough of a cosmetic impact on my hair to justify dropping $30 on minoxidil foam every 2 months and make myself bleed weekly.

Was on it. Got horrible sides. Two months off, sides still haven't subsided.

But hey, if it's working for you without any adverse bullshit, more power to you.

Just started. Hopefully it works out 22/M

I just started. I'm only doing .5 mg per day. Hoping to avoid the side effects. If it's not enough, I'd rather just go bald then have to live with the sides.

Oh and does anyone feel like shit after taking it? I've only been on for a week and just half a pill fucks me up like a narcotic.

imo, the best thing you can do is start early but on a very low dose. People do damage to themselves when they try to make a complete reversal.
