Modern Western asceticism is simple, plain, unbranded clothing. Milsurp and functional work clothing are good, provided there's absolutely zero branding, logos, insignia, etc.

Wear exclusively patchless blue jeans (usually store brand, jeans barely ever fall apart anyways) and white short-sleeve shirts of medium thickness.

When the winter months come, add on a grey sweatershirt.

Below, wear exclusively wear fruit of the loom crew socks and put on pic-related (for a truer, even less branded experience, equip the costco knockoff)

You'll be comfortable, extremely ordinary and conjure no particular feelings one way or the other in most people.
