I was kinda leaning towards navy since I like the shade of blue more than I like that particular shade of olive

I never wear mid-blue jeans, so that won't be an issue. (Usually black skinnies, sometimes grey or beat up stonewash)

I'm not always all black everything like some people here, my wardrobe is basically only a few muted colours (maroon, olive, navy) and white/greys/black

Yeah that should mix perfectly, olive is a cool shade but it's hard to pull off unless your wardrobe is tailored more towards earth tones

Definitely no earth tones. I have a light olive Complexion and black hair (Dutch/Macedonian background) so brown doesn't look good on me
