Lacoste and Ralph lauren are brand for wannabe "rich people".

In the 80s in country clubs real rich people wear this kind of brands for play polo, golf and sometimes tenis, normies take the brand as a symbol of wealthy because rich people wear it in clubs (so it must be good!) when the brand it's not even expensive so it become normie shit, right now when i see somebody wear this i see no taste and no personality (which is true).

They brand just had a name but the clothes are shit and to much basic stuff and most of the time ugly colors also ugly shoes. I will never buy someting from Lacoste or any similar brand unless i was going to do polo or i was a dad in his 40s balding and fat.

I have the same opinion for Jordan, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

asking whether a brand is good is literally asking about those qualities on average across their offering. I understand your basic statement, but it is simply true that some brands provide a better expected quality and are thus "good' brands, while others have low expected quality and are thus "bad" brands.

It may be true that you can find one or two good pieces per season from Old Navy or Walmart's clothing brand, but that doesn't make them "good" brands
