There's a buffalo exchange in Wicker Park. There are thrift stores all over milwaukee avenue in that area.
Mildblend supply company is also kinda cool if you like the raw denim aesthetic.
Oak Street Boots makes some nice (but expensive) boots.

some good places are best made co, only ny, your standard urban and jcrew, maybe zara, and really great thrifts in williamsburg and bushwick. buffalo exchange, beacons closet, and l train vintage are all solid. suggest heading out to morgan ave on the L into bushwick to get the best thrift shit.
