Gonna dye this gi in dark blue
I just bought the dye
Would dying it in my washing machine do any damage to the machine?

Is it made by Dylon? Then it's safe/
Do the washing a couple of times with a white piece of cloth to make sure there's nothing of the dye left.

dylon dye?
How did you get the weft (inner colour) a lighter colour than the rest?
>>12059158
that's not what weft means
>>12059158
Black acrylic paint. Just covered the whole outside. Then I let it hang dry and cure overnight. Then ran it through the machine.
It looks cool and faded now but I'm going to do a second coat.

aren't weft fibers the white fibers that go vertically in denim?
>>12059279
in a weave, the warp fibers go vertically and parallel to the selvage, with the weft fibers going horizontal
the back of denim is not white because you only see the warp on the face, it is because of the twill structure
in denim the warp is indigo and the weft is usually natural (cleaned, white)
