I use a shop vac on mine. Is there any way to wear the emblem on this hat without looking autistic? I think it's pretty and I want to keep it on but at what cost?

If you machine wash/dry then it will burr down the furry bits. Mine went from long fluff to sherpa (but still very dense) after the wash, and the 100% wool body has been just fine. Washed twice in the 3 years I've had one.
