Place to ask for advice, post inspo, w2c info, and opinions on what to cop.

I'm thinking about getting this penfield parka in white (yeah I know there's a risk of it getting dirty but I'm fine with that). Will this keep the cold out in winter weather ranging from 40-20 ish degrees Fahrenheit? I don't think there's any down in it. Will I need to get a heavy down coat? Just really liked the look of this one

Yeah that looks real comfy and snug, definitely should be enough for mid 20s-40s. If you layer with like a sweater you'd be set for a lot of weather.
Should I cop this for $30 at a local thrift? It's pretty warm and has a fold away hood
