Japanfag here.
Good for work. The UT line was pretty good a few years ago but they've been stuck making Disney and Star Wars merchandise for what seems like forever now. HeatTech is pretty amazing during winter.
I don't think anything particularly fashionable comes out of Uniqlo though.

They used to sell tons of crazy socks, but the last few years their entire catalog has been boring as hell.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh I know. The socks, underwear, and basic t shift (non UT) designs used to be pretty cool. Over the past two years it's now just been extremely plain.
Price is still good though.

I'm really pleased with my down coat and all the socks and t shirts I've gotten from them. They're not Jap Gap. Gap is ugly and uncomfortable and utilitarian. Uniqlo is at least good materials and looks decent on someone in shape.

its clothes u wear them

The moomin and SouSou UT stuff is nice
I still like their supima cotton tees for the price, although people recently have been bitching about them.

What's wrong with them?
airism shirts/heat-tech line are godsend basics at least for my laziness. Shirts dont keep a smell (okay, they get one after about 2-3 weeks of constant rotation daily) which is solved by a light wash. But the shirts that I wear, can be constantly worn over and over again unless you get something on them and need to wash it since the airism keeps your pits from sweating.

pretty Boss

What's wrong with that? There are just as many people on this board that make the opposite claim of expensive Japanese clothing being a waste, at least this isn't needlessly expensive shit. Neutral, logo-free basics from the Gap are fine; as is Uniqlo, who are better about branding than the Gap anyway.

Monster hunter collab was better
