Redpill me on Gitman Bros Vintage shirts. Are they worth it? The fit seems really slim on a lot of the shirts. Looking for classic buttondown shirts with unlined collars.
I recommend Mercer and Sons for a basic, affordable unlined collar OCBD. You can ask for the trim fit version but I don't think you would need it.
Gitman is top tier meme-ocbd. Substanital fabric, mother of pearl buttons, great collar roll, nicd details. Fit is really slim though. Im usually a xs but fit a small

pretty sure that's a bad thing lol. I think I'll have to try it on myself, judging by the measurements it is super slim.
- Kamakura Tokyo Fit: Best roll and button placement of the three, also the slimmest. Too slim for my taste but i'll have to try the NY fit. MoP buttons, it feels like the most luxurious of the three to me, for a great price too.
- Gant Rugger "Hugger" OCBD: decent shirt, rather slim but not too much. sleeves are super long but a tailor can fix that. decent roll, decent button placement too. A safe bet, maybe a little expensive at full price.
- Lean Garments: good roll, roomier than Gant, probably my favorite fit, good price.

Which of the kamakura shirts are you referring to? The vintage ivy collection? I've always liked that stuff but never bought it.

Nope, not the vintage ivy collection.
Just their regular OCBD: http://www.kamakurashirts.net/shop/g/gMSK021213781/
I should add that the shirt shrinked quite a bit.
