Hurr. The people spending most of their time bitching about the product instead of being productive with it are children. The hardware's pretty nice, Apple hasn't Lenovo'd us yet and completely fucked us privacy-wise, and it plays well with most bare-metal distros you would need. 99% of people (developers, data analysts, sysadmins, ML specialists included) have little pressing reason to use or not use any specific machine, save for maybe personal preference and OS-specific tools.
Regarding stickers: even when the sticker looks cool by itself, I always find the end result tacky when applied to something. Maybe there's just an inherent tackiness to stickers and patches. I like the idea but can't find any tasteful examples. Stickers on guitar cases? Meh. Stickers on laptops? Meh.
