Nah, tongue is fine.
Tongue on milsurp GATs is a little too big imo, and always finds a way to get on top of your jeans.

I'm of the complete opposite opinion desu
I find the flat margom sole too clunky looking, also making the toebox flat.
Despite that I still think they look OK, but for the price I'd much rather get MM GATs.

I owned a pair briefly. They are made in the same factory and same materials as Common Projects, the tongue and silhouette is almost identical to Achilles Low. No issues with the tongue. They run a size large as well. Hope you sized down.

Overall great shoe, but I don't like the flat sole, sold them and copped Margiela gats instead. Haven't looked back.

Leather is different from CP's imo, bit softer but doesnt age quite as well but its still ncie, also the toebox feels a bit more roomy.
