My craziest socks are a pair of navy/green striped Ralph Lauren socks that were part of a four-pack.

That may not sound crazy, but I generally wear traditionally colored socks so to me they're fucking insane.

Gray socks work too if you're wearing black skinny jeans. Blue or orange socks with blue skinny jeans. Go with the color of the pants or something complimentary/contrasting.
