How do you guys deal with it?

Which one do you recommend?

rinse scalp with cold water ONLY, lather with pine tar soap when you shower EVERY day.
I had dandruff for 5 years and this is the only thing that has worked for me. It comes back if I break my routine.

also just to clarify, i dont use any other products. no shampoo or conditioner. just the soap.

price is high so if you can't afford, there are cheaper options
after moving to a place with low humidity (from TX, where I never had dry scalp), this is what was recommended to me

your hair isn't dry?
>>11916909
no, pine tar soap is moisturizing. It's weird shit but its good shit. Also it's pretty cheap so it's worth trying imo.
just fyi it has a fairly strong smell but it doesnt linger.
>>11916935
yeah I know it's cheap; not to sound like a jackass (cuz I know better than to assume price = quality) but I sorta assumed it'd make hair dry like most soaps

Asian scaler products once a week.
Shampoo brush.
Strong anti fungal + salicylic acid shampoo once a week.
Coconut oil once a week.
Google them.
And eat your vegs, OP.
>tfw psoriasis on my scalp
>can nerver be cured
>black clothes look like shit because they're covered in dandruff half the time
>also have dog that sheds white fur everywhere
>>11916890
don't do every day
flaky scalp could be because you wash&shampoo too often
>>11916881
I use Roots from Lush and it completely sorted my dandruff out. I had had dandruff since I was 16.
Get pic related. Not all that expensive and gets rid of dandruff without fucking up your scalp like cheap products do (see H&S for example)

I like this brand. I use their lotion on my face.
>>11916881
Nizoral shampoo (with 1% ketoconazole) is very helpful
(It's called Fungoral where i'm from, so it'll probably be some other name where you're from)
any products for australians with this terrible condition?

Cyanide
I went nopoo and while its not completely gone, its better than it ever has been.

Does your scalp not get itchy as fuck?
>>11916881
Shampoo'd it out years ago, haven't had a problem since. Like 8 years ago.
Here's the secret: DON'T DO IT EVERY DAY.
That is fucking stupid. It will dry you out. Do it 3 times a week, and once a week simply rinse your hair without shampoo.
Sunday = rinse
Monday = wash
Wednesday = wash
Friday= wash

I use a mango based conditioner and cold water 2-3 times a week. Cold water helps a lot and I haven't had any dandruff problems since I started using the mango based conditioner a few months ago.

Not him, but if you do no poo and conditioner like every three days it's fine, that's what I do
