apply light pressure

shave with the grain on the first pass

then across the grain in the second pass

after the first and second pass you may shave against the grain if you want but that's optional

youtube also has some good videos on shaving with a straight razor.

Keep a styptic pencil around in case you cut yourself.

Look up Geofatboy on Youtube. He's the fucking king of shaving. He's so passionate about it and he also heads a buisness called Shavenation. But just watching his videos makes you want to shave. Good for you. Stay away from canned shaving creme and Mach 5 faggotry. Shaving soap, badger brush, and either a saftet razor or straight razor is the /fa/ of shaving. I have both.
