Several of my favorite shoes have become incredibly smelly. It's gotten so bad that when I am sitting on a bus or at a desk at Uni I can smell my own shoes. I'm paranoid about other people smelling them and have to place my feet as far from other people as possible in social situations.
I've tried a bunch of stuff including wiping the insides with rubbing alcohol and storing the shoes in the freezer overnight but they still smell.
Does anyone have any good advice for fixing this problem? You're my only hope /fa.
Change insole
Buy anti-fungal powder; pour that shit inside the shoe.
Also, are you putting on shoes right after getting out of the shower? Even if you aren't, make sure your feet are 100% dry, and apply the powder to your feet before putting socks+shoes on.

Borax and shit. Also good for foot fungus and killing ants.
Alternatively Big D odor control.
Fill them with baking soda and let it sit for a week
>fix
Wear socks
Don't wear the same pair two days in a row

Wash it if possible.
Vinegar or baking soda hopefully changes the pH enough to kill most of the bacteria.
Sun dry if possible.
Activated carbon/charchoal to absorb odors.
But honestly there are a lot of products specially designed to combat odours. Check amazon.
