God no it's not worth it unless you have a really cool house and it would actually fit in

Eames
Thousands

fuck yeah, this is a life time investment, real ones retain a considerable resale value as well

desu the design is so elegant and timeless it would go well anywhere
It's an Eames chair. They run about 5k I think.
It's a meme. Don't cop, it's tacky
These are so fuckin' basic. When ever I see someone has one of these I cringe.
It's a classic but it's a bit overplayed. Every starving artist goes into debt to get one of these. I've legit seen one in a student dorm.
Check out varier for some items that not everyone will have

The dirty little secret of fashion (and consumerism in general) is that a big reason people charge/pay more than the value of materials and labor for an item is because they like having different and better shit than other people

these millennial fuckers are destroying /fa/ and leading tons of underage retards to grow up thinking its more important to be **le original ahead of the curve** (protip: you're never original) than it is to have good taste or to be a functioning non-autistic human being

One of the reasons brands like CCP and A1923 blow up so much is that they can't be had for the wanting. At any price. There isn't a convenient, standard way to purchase an item from these lines in the same way you would buy a Lacoste polo or even a pair of Yohji hakamas.
Sure no one is 100% original but I enjoy owning items that in addition to being stylish, aren't owned by any idiot with a restauration hardware catalogue

That's not as expensive as I thought it'd be.
my dorm has one of these in the common room downstairs.
it's breddy nice, but honestly it only looks good because the entire room is furnished in herman miller stuff so it blends in and doesn't grab a lot of attention.
