Personally I see more relation to techwear in Killy's relatively form-fitting black suit with all its pockets and belts and little details than I do in cybergoths with multicolor fur boots, spikey bracelets, cumbersome rubber hairstyles and corsets.
But I'm not trying to argue that Nihei is 100% techwear, just that it seems reasonable that his work could be deemed closer to inspo material than cybergoths can.
