Back in the olden days, all the nigras and OG rappers all were into the LEE brand.
>>
Wrangler if you are a normal person; Lee if you're a nignog.
>>
depends

levis, wrangler, etc. will work if you're not particularly picky and lead a relatively normal lifestyle

but obviously there are specialty brands out there that offer different things
>>
I actually really like American Eagles jeans. Id say my favorites are AE, Levi and Lucky

LVC/M&C do nice jeans. Mainline is fine, but really spotty QC. Naked and Famous has done great collabs, but mainline isn't worth it. Nip stuff, like Flathead, orSlow, Sugarcane, Oni, etc, is amazing, but pricey, and only really good for raws. I really like Norse for their fits, but I'd only buy them on sale.

You can find pricier "denimbro" jeans on the cheap occasionally. Copped my oni secret olives for like $100 before shipping.

kapital has some weird sizing (their size 32 feels like a 30 on me) but otherwise their basic offerings are solid

APC was very disappointing through and through.

And levis is solid for generally accessible denim, had my old black skinnies (510s?) since 2011 or so.

Any recs for full rise slim/tapered denim? Been looking at japan blue high tapered
>>
>>11878189
japanese designer brands from my experience
BLK DNM and Won Hundred for beaters
People recommend Nudies a lot and while not bad, especially if you get them from sale, the denim quality isn't bery good. I have pair of g-star jeans and the denim is way better on them.
>>
got a pair of coutie jeans recently, they're really nice
>>
>>11879408
And personally I just get my jeans from thrifts nowadays
Find a pair that sits perfect from waist and ass and where the denim feels heavy and sturdy, then just get them tailored to perfection. You can't beat the price/quality

It's been said here before, but I'll say it again:
Levi's is as good as jeans ever need to be.
Yeah, there are companies that make nicer jeans, but when you're paying 6 times the price for a product that only lasts twice as long, you're wasting money. If you can't look good in Levi's, you aren't gonna look good in anything.
>>
>>11886332

>>
>buy £10 pair of jeans
>they look exactly the same as a japanese £200 hipster raw pair
>>
>>11886505
should have gone for the £30 ones from uniqlo, they're japanese, selvedge, and cheap
(I got mine for £2.90 +p&p)
>>
>>11886508
mine are ASOS
i have been wearing them for nearly 4 years and not a loose thread
they lasted 4x longer than the last pair of levis i had and counting
>>

Yeh, I've got Jacob Cohen jeans, denim shorts, and some other material shorts (forgotten what).

Love the cowhide label. Textually amazing.
>>
>>11878189
levis quality has gone to shit. only the vintage line is still made in cone mills.
but there are superior jeans still.

some of the most desirable and popular jeans in the denim community are pike brothers.

I haven't seen anything but mid tier jeans mentioned in this thread so far.
>>
>>11883575

This.
But i wish they had more color shades with no fade and stopped making ripped jeans.
>>
>>11878189
Levi's, thirty years ago.
>>
>>11879471
their light wash is excellent at a surprisingly low price point IMO
>>
Nudie make decent jeans, with plenty of cuts to choose from. People say that the fit goes to shit after one wash but I haven't experienced that. The only complaint is that if you get dry black jeans or black jeans with "petrol" fades, they fade in a dusty colour and it doesn't look that great.

Naked and Famous do a huge range of good selvedge but a lot of the stuff is a gimmick.

Go with the fit you like most, you're unlikely to find a pair of that terrible jeans, unless you go with something like true religion
>>
>>11878189
h m make good quality jeans for the price, i know it's not popular to say that but it's true. Uniqlo too but since the beginning of the year they higher their price. The only great quality of you have the money is the japanese brand.

>>
>>11889831
I cant tell you offhand every model but theres zip fit and different rises I think.

I don't think your numbers are right because 510 is skinny.

you start out with 501 as the go to traditional, that button.
the higher the number the skinnier they seem to get.
the the numbers in between are variations, like 506 is 501 with a zip instead of buttons.

just go the the fucking website and pick something you like.

since fags are wanting lightwash, theyre obviously vapourwave fags with no interest in quality denim.
they should just pick up used second hand jeans.
>>
I wear Edwins as beaters. Are they as bad as people say? Fit is great and quailty pretty good.
