I have this same problem, except I wear too many shirts from walmart and yard sales because I live on the poverty line.

Any form of knitwear is vastly inferior to any form of jacket. So yes, you can have too many sweaters. Honestly, there isnt even much of a reason to have more than a handful. Most of the time you shouldnt even be wearing them.
