Grey canvas nato strap.
Btw it's a great Choice m8, the coaxial hate meme is a nonsense imo.
Assuming it's a preowned watch, would you mind telling me how much you got it for? I've been eyeing one going for 1500€ right now in a really decent condition.

Nah it's a new one. Best option for you is just going on Jomashop or something, unless you wanna do it traditionally and go to an AD. Thanks for the rec too

well i originally was going to go with the agent which is sans the hole, and also sans the lume. I tend to be awake for a pretty signifigant time at night and prefer to have some sort of lume

The hole isnt a deal breaker and has a bit of novelty for me as my first auto, i dont hate it, i dont love it and i would not seek out watches that have it

Lorus are Seiko's poorfag daughter brand and are basically one tier below Pulsar but not exactly worse quality wise. they are amazing though because most of them literally have 100m WR and you get much watch for very little money. not even Casio gives you that much value for buying their cheap watches since Lorus always tend to have more features.

Well, I'd would say go for a hadley roma but you don't want to spend more than $30, so better just look for something you like at your favorite online store, be amazon, ebay, aliexpress, etc... Same for the springbar tool. Also, avoid the panerai buckle only if you are getting either a panerai or a huge douchbag wrist-watch, that buckle is the equivalent of wife-beater undershirts.

Visiting your local jeweler/horologist is way better, I live in a mid-sized city and the local watch guys not only do repairs, they have a long selection of straps and watch tools to sell, also you can make lots of watch small talk with them and have both a good time.

Yes. Usually there are obscure vintage pieces with notable movements. Many collectors have older Longines for example even though the modern brand is no longer special. Invicta offers nothing as far as I can tell apart from being a footnote in watch history for poor taste pieces.

True Omega does make some memes. I do like the Apollo 13 mission commemorative watches though. This is a pretty decent overview of the 3 in this picture http://www.fratellowatches.com/speedy-tuesday-omega-speedmaster-professional-silver-snoopy-award-311-32-42-30-04-003/

Why did you spend that much on a Steinhart in the first place, let alone as a teenager? Isn't that close to a year's salary in whatever shitstain country you live in? Should have bought a Seiko like a sensible person.
>>
>>11862455
I was a dumb teen with disposable income. 400€ wasn't that much money for me back then cause I actually had time for a part time job.

Sucks cause I've gotten too used to just checking the time from my wrist. But then again I'm kinda done trying to impress people I don't care about with expensive stuff so buying a simple quartz timex will suit me fine. Till I can be arsed to get the Steinhart fixed.

I don't know anything about Skagen but don't all Berings and Obakus quartz movements? You aren't going to get a recommendation for a (nonvintage) $150 quartz watch from me. If you like them and you can afford it, then go for it.

To all the poorfags out there, these are the best value automatic watches that you can get.
>>
>>11862607
I've been wanting to get an Alpha just to experiment if square watches are for me.

I also agree on Seiko 5 anything for poorfag tier, just not Seiko in general.

>>11860303
I can vouch for Hadley Roma. Would also recommend deBeer for something cheaper but less quality.
>>
>>11862524
Skagen is all quartz, Obaku also afaik, but Bering has some automatic and solar as well.

Never did I dismiss you, I was calling out the purist haters, and the 8926 is incredible as a watch in that price range. I have owned Seiko watches, good try being condescending to invalidate my points though. I own a variety of watches from JDM seikos to omegas, from vintages to various pocket watches. I can objectively say the 8926 is a good watch, and its sad that people who like them are somehow supposed to prove themselves.. If you have any critique on the actual watch, say so, I've heard nothing so far
>>
>>11855371

Laco is solid too, but you want to skip the Miyota line and drop a little extra on the ETAs.

I don't get the point in laco or these other brands who were once actual watch makers and are now just a company using an old name
>>

$$$
it's hard to stay relevant if you haven't been in the game continuously for a long period unless you have world-class watchmakers at your disposal

>>

What I mean is why even buy them, almost invicta tier except nowhere near as shit with those prices
Now if someone can tell me the model of this Casio
>>11849823
>>

>What I mean is why even buy them

look though this thread, many people want the meme brands because they're different or emulate the look of a more established brand. They don't care about the movement or any of the actual details
>>
>>11864249
You can buy inexpensive that are not like that ie Seiko, Orient etc
Spending several hundreds on a watch that Daniel Wellington, skagen tier except they have automatic movements and cost a looot more
I really like how some skagen look but they're not worth more than $30

I do have critique on the watch. As I said, it's just a sub homage. The design isn't original. I'm not trying to be condescending, you just keep repeating that it's "incredible" when it does literally nothing new.
>>
Where do you even buy a Hamilton intra matic for a good price brand new?
Don't trust places like jomashop
>>
>>11864324
Consider that there are people on /fa/ that have spent hundreds of dollars on a $5-$10 quartz movement and a $25 strap and a cheap steel case.

Seiko is cool, and I think that model is going up in value, so you can resell it with profit.
