Not OP, but I have a similar question. I'm between these boots, which are like the ones I had in mind but I can't go to the place to try them out, so if they turn out to be shit I'm screwed.

I guess, problem is I'm in south america so there isn't that much to choose from. The first one is considerably cheaper so I think I'm just discarding the idea.
