Is it just me or are German WW2 jackets quite do-able in terms of leather jackets today?
I won't cop but I feel like people could and not look silly.

They're supposed to be puffy. All you new fags are ruining bombers with that slim shit. Go buy another jacket if you don't like the puff.

This
Normies normiefying cool things is kanker
>>11813134
>>11813202
You guys crack me up.
Flight jackets have been normie for a long fucking time. Like since the early 90's.
If you like it, wear it the way you want to.
Anyone have any links to milspo albums?
>>11813351
I'm a huge fucking autists who can't stop sucking cocks
That is why I want them to be as close to the original as possible, but that applies to many things
>>11812194
feels like a drive video game character select
>>11813422
Well original would be fitting, cropped kinda high.
The godawful trend in the 90's I was referencing saw these puffy ass tent jackets people were wearing to try to keep up with their fuckhuge skater jeans.
fuck the jacket in OP pic. it's become the ultimate normie nike adidas faggot jacket I hate it so much KYS if you wear it.
get a real bomber or actually don't get one at all they are dead thanks to normies.
I've never had a bomber jacket before. Are they warm though to wear during winter? Think down to -20°C (-4°F), might get even colder though.
>>11813483
Yeah they are warm, but a lot better if they fit, and go ahead and include some layers if it gets really cold.
>>11813483
US layer system intended them for -10 to +10 degrees celsius
>>11813488
I'm tossed up between a bomber or a parka. Wind gets really harsh too so parka may be better. Hmm...
>>11813496
That's just the beginning or ending of winter then, I have suitable jackets for that. Fug.
>>11813499
For wind I would prefer something with a hood DESU.

>>11813746
Nigger, the one in OP pic is the classic fit.
>>11813499
I've been wearing the original puffy version (sometimes with a hoody) every winter in Toronto since the early 90's. You'll be fine with just that.
>>11813483
Get an ECWCS L7 they're warm as fuck

>Flight jackets have been normie for a long fucking time. Like since the early 90's.
I haven't seen one worn by a man that wasn't elderly and pudgy before this year.
At least in my country I would say they were normie some time before the 90s, when these guys bought them, and have been out of fashion since.
>>11812189
Why are you buying into the "asian fashion is so ahead" meme?
>>11813563
>>11813544
>wanting to look like a goddamn pitot tube
Those tags are meant to be instrument covers for planes on the ground
>>11812044
These are possibly the most bland leather jackets ever produced mate
Don't worry, most people will just think it's just a generic jacket
>>11816212
I'm fully aware of that
>>11816216
That's kind of my point. I mean, compare with RAF jackets.
Are you going to pull this off unless you're a big guy?
>>11813483
I wouldn't wear my AI MA1 to more than -10c. Also it leaves your neck out in the open.
Helicopter crew stuff is always better.
Also no flight overalls.
Boooooring.
Sorry for not being flight related but does anyone know where I can find a good pullover anorak like the cav empt one (without the decals) with a detachable hood?

I live for the day mitznefets become fashionable.
Get some alpenflage in your life.
Anyone handled the Ben Sherman x Alpha MA-1?
Ben Sherman's listed sizing on their website looks to be a bit more trim than most pleb brands so I would think to size up.
But I think Alpha fits are just the opposite, right?
>>11817578
It's an overall.
I've seen ones for sale on auction sites at times, not in the US though.
>>11819296
w2c jacket
>>11813563

>>11819331
It's a swiss alpenflage jacket. It has some official designation but nobody bothers with that.
The only non-actual milsurp brand I'll shill hard for is arktis.
Where can i get a slim green bomber with patches on it? And that doesn't cost a fortune
>>11819363
Why don't you just put patches on yourself?
>>11819367
Too tryhard
>>11817784
jesus christ why would you wear both?
>>11812197
Well, the Japanese have won awards for making the best whiskey and pizza before, beating Scots and Italians.
I'll drop some soviet flight stuff
>>11819372
You think patches you didn't even put on yourself that mean nothing to you are LESS tryhard?
>>11819375
Classic camo with a hyper modern one.

>>11819569

>camo pants
disgusting
>>11819609
That's correct.
>>11819617
I love the combination, personally.
Milsurpfags are the full kit wankers of /fa/
>>11819636
How is the sizing on the M59's? The M38 sizes are like "90" or "100" but the place selling 59's has only "small, medium, large".
>>11819596
>sir
Ha.
>>11820191
If you're ordering off MilitaryMart, I got their medium and it seems pretty accurate to me. Their sizing is always a bit slapdash. Oh, the sleeves are incredibly long on them even if you get your usual size it seems. The M59 jacket I have and love is waaaaay tighter in a medium size.
>>11820223
Medium M59.
Why is everything scandinavian so great.
>>11820223
Yeah, that's the place. The coat looks pretty roomy, does it have some markings inside?
Would you rather change it for the small one or your medium fits fine enough? I'm 187 and can't decide.
And what about sizing of those swedish wool trousers?
>>11820255
Yes, C 150. I like looser fitting things, you're a little taller than me (I don't think 4cm will make that much difference though) but i don;t see why you couldn't go down a size. I'm afraid I can't remember how the swede sizing works off the top of my head, might be worth looking it up and putting it on the note on your order. There might be two sizes for each option for example and they would pick at random.
>>11820260
Go a size bigger than your usual, I have a 32" pair and they're quite tight, even though I'm around that size.
>>11820296
>>11820281
Alright, thanks a lot!
I've seen a link to some swedish milsup store with the sizing table guide, it was huge and complex, really a nightmare for picking the right size.
MilitaryMart is great for sheer value, but for accurate sizing I'd say varusteleka has the edge. It's fun to gamble though.
>>11820321
I'm more familiar with norwegian sizing since their stuff is maximum quality. I buy most swedish stuff off the cuff.
>>11820323
Thats a big coat
>>11820587
It's the comfiest shit you'll ever wear let me tell you. the lightest, warmest quilting I've ever worn.

>>11810323
Most effay camo out of these?
>>11820698
Far left or the two on the right
>>11820698
I like Alpenflage, but it seems like it comes in dark and light patterns and that one looks pretty light. Which doesn't look that great.
>>11819348
I just bought two last night
>>11819344
>>11819331
Just in case you're wondering though, I think the one with all the pockets and the hood is the M70. The M83 is like a shirt/lighter jacket.
>>11820669
Nah, it's the M90 ECW gear.
>>11820694
Helicopter crew trousers. Boots are Rocky Sv2. The goretex version if you're into that.
>>11820698
The Belge jigsaw for sure.
>>11820717

I missed out on their one off piece in blue dispersion, but they'll release it with their standard jacket cut so eh.
