i got only the side cut, but it still looks shitty. im afraid to cut the top at all.

I have similar hair. Shampooing causes a lot of the frizz and overall shittyness. It also damages your hair, especially the cheaper ones. No pooing will make your hair way easier to manage. Conditioner will make it extra smooth and add a nice smell. Don't shampoo unless you genuinely need it.

My hair is thick but also completely without any natural wave. It's wiry, long, curly and just stiff. It is the least aesthetic hair ever.

What's the best mousse to soften hair without making it frizzy and just letting it hang, sit gently and not curl up?
