Yes. Dark colored hoodies are very common, adidas in particular.

The idea is to blend common streetwear (from the 90s in particular for some reason) and a little bit of military surplus.

Like I wear black adidas Sambas, jeans, a hoodie like yours, and an M65 jacket. That "outfit" I had already been wearing long before I heard of terrorwave, but once I saw photos of the Yugoslavian War, the IRA, and Chechnya, I started seeing similarities.

You got the right idea with shoes. I myself as I said before wear black Sambas a lot, or my work boots. White, blue, black, and green are good colors for shoes with this.

As far as bags, if you're talking about backpacks, you don't want to go tactical. You want to blend in, somewhat atleast. I have an old black Northface Recon that goes well with a lot, however Jansport's basic backpack in blue, black, or green looks good.

Milsurp also offers a few options, like the Italian and German Mountain packs. But that may not be what you're looking for.
