Bad news: I have cancer.
Good news: losing weight, getting pale, excuse to experiment with wigs and dark, sick udereyes. Seriously cancer is pretty effay.

However, are bald women attractive or do they just look like lesbian bikers? Ignore the scarce grow back, I'll be shaving later this evening.
>>
>>11702404
u seem above average symmetry wise. You can make the no hair thing work. You could go the wig route but I feel like your almost better off being like "fuck it, this is me for now".

I have seen ugly girls shave there heads and still get pestered by guys to go on dates.

I cute girl like you has nothing to worry about look wise.

eat more to keep your strength up. I am a cancer survivor myself, forcing yourself to eat when you have no appetite is very important.

best of luck.

You would probably look even better with your natural hair, when it comes back, but for now I don't think you need a wig or anything.

i personally wouldnt be attracted to a girl who was bald or had hair shorter than a bob cut because I think it looks too masculine and I assume they're dykes or feminists. Even if I knew her well and her personality, it would throw me off. That being said you're still attractive without the hair and I definitely would fuck you but again I wouldn't approach you because I'd assume you were a dyke.

wigs are silly and auntcore
you can embrace a bald head by taking care of your face and in your case I'd wear earrings (studs preferrably) because they add beauty and would make you look less void
I see you pass a dark vibe so if you dress in black and go for a goth style then Chin Teo and Emanuele Bicocchi would work for you
if you are looking for something more affordable and easier to wear then Claudia Ligari has a couple of nice pairs
if you have a bit of cash to spend and wear colors , Aurelie Bidermann has plenty of sexy pairs
honorable mention: COS also has some good pairs for cheap
hope I helped, good luck

In your case, it's fine. Deliberately doing it however, implies a sort of mental disorder, for me anyway. This is coming from a guy who saves bald, but I guess on guys it's common no?

tip: avoid sugar till you beat it, eat veggies, chicken breast, and salmon, nothing too greasy.

God bless you.

Thank you so much for the replies :'). Truly makes me feel so much better..

I shaved my head, but I definitely like a buzz better. But it only grows back half, and maybe next week not even at all, so it's not really an option anymore. I think I will have to ease everyone around me into it. For now I'm wearing wigs outside, but I want to sort out my style of clothing, get some better fits and occasionally start going out with just a beanie, or nothing. I might need to find a way to express myself the way I like first, without coming off too masculine. Something to figure out since I like my fits to be inspired by the big tech brands and tech wear is not necessarily feminine..

>>11702448
Thank you for your reply. I recently discovered how good fries make me feel post-chemo, so I've been eating that when I'm sick. In recovery week I eat almost only fruits, nuts and vegetables since I've been associating junk food with being sick. Looking at pizza makes me want to throw up, haha. But I guess that's only better in the long run. Great that you turned out better.

>>11702568
Two weeks. Jk, I think I'm gonna be just fine. I have Hodgkin's disease, a blood cancer in the lymph nodes. It's the first cancer to be treated with chemotherapy, and especially nowadays fairly treatable with high success rates. My case seemed a little unfortunate at first, but apparently the cancer reacts extremely well to chemo. The tumours seem to be gone and I feel a lot better despite the chemo sessions. My doctor is actually a bit surprised.

>>11702969
Nice and honest answer. This is why I really need to figure out how to not come off as a Buzzfeed employee that shaves her head just because it's against female beauty standards and will judge you if you don't think her fat body is beautiful lol. It's not that I'm looking for a relationship. I really just don't want to come off as a dyke.
>>
>>11708539
You have very pretty eyes and the lack of hair brings that out. I feel like cancer imparts a no fucks given kind of attitude, so I'd just roll with that; it's strange how intense physical illness seems to change someones personality. I don't know you, but I can only assume.

Hope things fall in your favor.
>>
>>11702404
I'd fuck you. Get well soon.
>>
>>11703408
Know that every kind of cancer has it's own symptoms, but I would always look out for fatigue and energy levels. If no amount of sleep, water or vitamin D or B12 can improve it, and it keeps getting worse and new symptoms start occurring, you should start to worry about a more serious health issue.

>>11703612
Luckily, no :)

>>11703630
Hair loss is because of chemo, but I gotta say my ring finger is actually longer than my index finger. Does add to the statics technically.

>>11704092
For now it's gonna have to be inspired by, but one day I'd like to know what wearing such quality feels like.

>>11704215
Thanks, feeling really good. :)

>>11704238
I can watch movies and browse 4chan all day and people start to value your opinion more not because it makes sense, but everybody wants a terminally sick friend so they can tell people about it, right? hahah *starts crying because no real friends*.

>>11705474
I used to smoke it a lot, but Dutch weed is never smoked without tobacco because it's rather strong and it would be a waste to smoke it pure like in the U.S. However, I went to very occasional smoking because tobacco, duh. Now I use THC/CBD oil to reduce chemo nausea. I kinda look down on recreational pot use since I've kinda fallen into it in the past, but damn it does have outstanding medicinal properties.
>>
>>11705484
Fuck yeah Dutch medical insurance system. Basic insurance luckily covers all of it, but still. A thousand dollars for a jacket?

>>11705506
Haha I did, and you know what one of the docs said? They said I shouldn't use it (goes for other natural cancer fighting substances too) because they wouldn't know if the potentially successful result would be because of the THC, or chemotherapy, and the success rate of the patent holders' product (chemo) wouldn't be accurate..

>>11705725

>>11708628
Sorry, I'm gonna bombard you with questions. I hope you can answer them. Do you know if your mom got abvd, or elevated beacopp chemo? And what kind of cancer did she get later? I'm actually considering to quit chemo, because I honestly don't believe it's doing anything good at this point. The oncologist said the cancer was likely beaten after only two rounds, but I have to finish the remaining 10 sessions to be sure to clear it all up. I really wonder why 2 sessions can remove various liver sized tumours to an undetectable size, but 10 extra sessions are needed for the tiny remains? I have 6 out of 12 to go, and I'm seriously considering to refuse further infusions. I'd like to know what someone who has experienced this has to say on it. Thank you :)
>>
>>11708659
I guess guys don't have to worry as much as females tend to think they do. I highly doubt that /fa/ wouldn't care. Yeah, maybe he would get less personal compliments, but fashion advice he will get. And I think that's what we're all really looking for here.
>>
>>11708581
You have nice lips. Would make out with/10.
>>
>>11708603
Thanks. The still red one in my neck is from a biopsy to examine a lymph node. The others are from various things. Some are old due to excessive scratching from itching that likely had to do with the cancer. But most are probably from mosh pits...Chemo makes you rather sensitive, and that, together with parties and raving do not go together well, haha. Mind telling you where you got yours?
>>
>>11708596
Haha it's a pretty goddamn sad story how I found out, you sure you wanna hear it? I turned our fine, though.
>>
>>11708702
Yes i want.
>>
>>11708710
Sit back, this is gonna be long. About 3 and a half years ago energy levels started dropping to the point that I was having a hard time getting up in the morning. Because of my age and a lack of physical abnormalities, the doctor never made much out of it. Even told my mom she had a teenage son herself who didn't like getting up for school as well... My lymph nodes were always swollen, but that could've been any innocent cold or flu according to her. Less than two years ago, I had already been perma-skipping college because I was simply too exhausted. I started getting extreme itches on my skin which made my "mystery skin disease" that the hospital couldn't seem to figure out. Several biopsies, tried every skin steroid and antibiotic available, but only excessive scratching and digging made it go away for a bit. The oncologist doesn't think it had anything to do with Hodgkin's after all, but I don't really think it could've been anything else since I don't have it anymore. Anyway, it was about more than half...
>>
>>11708768
......a year ago that my lymph nodes started getting very big and it seemed like my body shape was changing. I was 17, so I assumed i was just still growing up and I didn't bother going to the doctor anymore because according to him "It's not cancer because cancer isn't supposed to hurt". The last few months before diagnosis, symptoms were extreme. Lymph nodes in my neck became fist size. Not fa at all lel. Couldn't walk for longer that 5 minutes without using speed, lost period, appetite, constant fever, excessive shaking and sweating at night, other signs of dying etc. I didn't really care anymore at this point. After I kept refusing to see a doctor because I was an unstable retard and already lost faith in humanity, my neck swole so big roommates started saying that they were going to drag me to the hospital if I didn't go myself. I went to see a doctor in my new home town and she sent me to the hospital the same day thank god. My body shape changing were tumours between my lungs and in my stomach, and...
>>
>>11708771
...apparently I didn't reach stage 4 just in time or it would've been too late. Yes, I'm so lucky that it's treated just in time, but I think it's pretty crazy what it takes to be treated. I knew I had cancer for a long time. It's just a pity that it had to make me fail two extra years of college and get me kicked out of the house because I was a "lazy teenager". Since the doctor confirmed it couldn't have been a physical issue, I must have not wanted to go to school, or wanted to get up and do things, right? Oh well, I feel alot fitter now. I guess I could've only learned about the whole psychological experience, haha.
>>
fellow chemo girl here,
2 years in, here's the advice i can give:

yeah, some guys will be turned off by baldness/illness.

but there will be more attention from guys (and girls) in general bc well yr a bald chick
more than likely you'll attract more guys will simply because of the weight loss
i basically rely on weed to not dip into skeletal, the nausea never gets easier.
also kinda weird, i have no hormones, so over time i stopped /smelling/ like a woman, body figure became more androgynous, lube is a must..
again, weird, but guys seem to be into this too.

dress in modern clean lines, fitted and not baggy, to be treated like an adult and not a skinhead.
get good at make up, contouring, eyebrows and you'll look better than before cancer
i sometimes wear wigs if i want to not draw attention in public, run errands, but if I'm going out bald i wear makeup bc i hate the pity stares.
amazon has decent priced wigs that pass well even up close

guys will always be into you
but you gotta decide who you want to attract and yeah, this experience is total shit but enjoy consciousness while you're still alive.

bc combining a model bod and the confidence you get when you face yr mortality and kill your ego is 10/10

90% of the time you feel like tired shit but you can wear a paper bag and look hot congrats i guess? best of luck.

Plus you can go up to whoever you want and say you're a virgin and you're dying of cancer and you don't want to die without the sex

Who would turn that down?

If you started sobbing uncontrollably while we were fucking my dick would be like diamonds

Some people might be into it

But most will get the wrong impression and think you are some rebel punk or feminazi screaming rape to everyone that looks at you

But either way have this card, say hello to jesus for me

This thread gives me hope.

This thread is fucked up.

And not because of replies like yours.

Actually you're already supposed to see a doctor when your lymph nodes have been swollen for anytime longer than 2 months. When lymph nodes fight infection, they are often sensitive to pain, especially when you press them. If they are swollen, but don't necessarily hurt, it could definitely indicate cancer. I wouldn't stress too much about it, just go to the doctor because that's all you can really do. Lymph node cancers are very similar to other (less serious) auto immune diseases symptom wise, so try to get a second opinion, or ask for a puncture biopsy.

Op, don't think to much about what you look with cancer goin on. You look like you've accepted what happened to you, and what happened to you isn't be your final destination.
Don't eat.

>But most are probably from mosh pits
That's hot.

One is from when my father and I got into a fight when I was like 12. He pinned me against the wall and his thumbnail dug into my chest and it left a scar. Another is from when I asked a girl to cut me when she was on top of me. She actually did without any hesitation. It was kind of amazing.

I'm not as maladjusted as you would imagine haha.

Post feet OP.
You'll be gone soon anyway so you might as well make a few people happy before you leave.
