best bang for your buck is levi's, if you want raw or something go elsewhere, but for just basic stonewash, for the price you cant beat levis

ive never owned any. so i dont know. but it seems all overpriced. Like I said levis is the gold standard for jeans, they probably always will be. Is it the best pair out there? no. Is it the cheapest? no. But the quality for the price is there, they have plenty of styles, and when your gf asks you what jeans you wear when she needs to buy you a gift you can say levis, which is easy, rather than 'i wear diesel jeans' and shell prob break up with you.
