yo OP, that's an awful idea. and not because i'm standing up for hipsters and how cool they are, it's because that word means literally nothing anymore. everything that was considered "hipster" at one point is bleeding into the mainstream - everyone loves vinyl now, stupid beards and shit are all widely popular. i'm warning you bc chances are you'll show up and people won't get what you're doing, chances are no one will think you're dressed up.


like watch this video, everyone they show is supposedly a hipster, but their styles are all over the place. "hipster" just came to mean literally anything different than the person who's speaking, and with a window that wide you're doomed.

go for an actual subculture, like beatniks or mods or punks. hipsters were a bonafide subculture at some point, looking just at like williamsburg, but aside from dressing like a try hard attention grabber there's not many defining traits. and, by virtue of the fact that you browse fa, you probably already dress like a try hard attention grabber
