maybe i had a bad experience, i was around him for the ysl show and obviously spent like maybe 2 weeks in paris together, i met jack kilmer and had no idea he was famous, just thought he was a normal guy whereas charlie was dressed head to toe in ysl, previous season, which obviously most of us modeled hahaha, tl;dr he just came across as pretty obnoxious, all the LA street cast kids usually play up in paris cos they're away from home, egoed up from being with ysl, but i dont think charlie really has that excuse

He is a good dude, the problem is that he is struggling with growing up as a Hollywood kid, dad is awesome but mom basically wasn't there. 90% of his friends are the most annoying and useless people you will ever meet in your life, and sometimes it rubs off on him. Wearing all YSL is part of that... Learning that you don't actually want to look like a walking billboard, even if you have the money to pull it off, takes time... And when you grow up around trust fund billionaires, that lesson takes a lot longer to learn (some never do -- look at Jimmy Goldstein).

Now that the whole SLP thing is over, a lot of those LA street casts are gonna have a hard time dealing with the fact that nobody actually cares about them, nobody thinks they are special. yeah i think most of the street cast kids are trying to get agencies now and failing, most of the LA people are in bands, most of the girls have gone on to do really well, but if anything ysl was holding them back, for example Kiki is now in the top 50 models, I don't think Charlie was obnoxious, he is just from a completely different world to the rest of the ysl people, and didn't really assimilate, most ysl boys are either from LA or England, and its cool amongst them to dress as cheaply as possible and look as shitty as possible etc, everyone is an artist, or a photographer, or in a band (like me), but charlie didn't really talk about those kinds of things, of which i'm sure he has a lot to say, i feel like had he done that he might have met some people from LA who could have helped him do whatever he wanted, that was one of hedi's big goals to create a network of artists who can use each other
