Been dressing better recently and thought I would try out workwear for fall/winter.
What should I wear for pants with a denim jacket if I don't want to double denim?
Good boot recommendation? I was thinking doc martins.
What makes a good flannel?Should I go for red or is that too lumberjack?
post inspo if you got it

Heavy canvas, wool, corduroy, fatigue or lightweight cotton pants are all viable. Double denim *can* work, but if you're thinking Docs fit into workwear, maybe stay away from that for now.

Red Wing, Chippewa, Whites, Viberg, Oak Street, Yuketen, or even look for actual leather work boots. Try vintage stores, sometimes they have nice worn in leather boots, and the super slim styles of the past decade won't be very prevalent.

You should be able to feel it. Much heavier and usually slightly looser weaved than a regular shirt. There are nice wool overshirts out there too. Filson is a good starting point, but you'll probably need to tailor them to fit nicely. They're cut like actual workwear.

Red is fine, but don't only buy that. Think about colour coordination and fit in other colours as you go.

Do you have to be some cyberpunk shadowrun dude to wear techwear? Or assassinate dudes while listening to Bauhaus to be gothninja? Or be a cuck with too much money to wear yeezy stuff?
Chill out, dude.
