What sandals should I cop lads?
Also anyone know what model the guy in pic related is wearing?

tevas or suicoke

Those look like the suicoke chin2. The inner foot side looks pretty hideous in other pictures, so look out for that.
Also, should I cop these or the depa v/v2? There's no bridge strap on these but the toe strap looks really thicc.

Pretty sure those are just black Chacos, not anything exotic
do any of you hike in sandals?
i've been doing the trail runner thing, but sandals are tempting especially when doing multiple water crossings.
but i'm petrified of busting a toe open on a rock or something. and i worry about traction if having to scramble up or down.

i've done some hiking in my tevas, but nothing crazy. i wouldn't feel safe climbing or running in them.

I hike in my Chacos all the time. Traction is excellent -- they have Vibram soles like any decent pair of boots. They're very comfortable, and I've never stubbed my toe.
They are, however, heavy; heavier than a typical pair of runners, even. The strap can also start to wear you raw after a few days.
