Nah, I just have enough shoes that I rotate through them frequently so they don't all get crazy wear. Black Geo's are starting to go a bit now though.

That and I'm very mindful of my gait when I'm out and about, I don't scuff my feet and I pick them up in my stride, if that makes sense.

a lot of rick is unisex, and the line drawn between men's and women's is the size. from looking very quickly, the only discernible difference (and it could be based on season) is that the women's astaires don't have the offset top button.
regardless, a tailor can definitely take them in a size at the waist, but doing more than just pinching them at the belt line (ie resizing the whole top block) might turn into an ordeal. they're supposed to be baggy anyway, so maybe go for it.

Noricks here. If I buy a pair of used cargobaskets will I look like an idiot without full rick to accompany it? I really like the silhouette and long white laces on black and I think I can work it in with cargo pants in a more military style look or in a more casual look with loose pants and say a jersey style top. Cargobaskets are a pretty bold first Rick option, and a difficult one to make work without full Rick. The main reason being that they're quite large, so it takes a really exaggerated silhouette to balance them out.

That being said, cargo and or/loose fitting pants are probably the best route to go as far as making balancing them out without going all the way.

I say go for it, but you might find that you only have a select few outfits that really work with them - so they might not be a shoe that you can wear every day.

Pic related is full Rick, but a good example of a slightly toned-down silhouette that still works.

I still lurk, but that's about it. I've cut back a lot on /fa/ in general, atleast compared to what I used to do. I still visit these threads for the occasional discussion, bit like the others have said constant sizing questions, fabric codes, inspo requests, and shitposting (not even the good kind) have just made me lose interest.

Honestly "sale times" are my least favorite times to be on /fa/ in general. It's all the noobs hunting to cop their first designer pieces. I was one of them, and I totally understand why everyone gave me so much shit now. No one wants to answer for the 10th time today how the blue/yellow raf dip dye fits, and the same for geos. No your feet aren't special, unless you wear an improper shoe size for your fit the sizing is the same for 99% of the peiple out there. Same with every other piece on sale. For example cream mohair knit goes on sale, suddenly every other post in /ROG/ is "how do I size for this turtleneck for x height and y weight", same thing for the sock runners, same thing for dust pods, same thing for taupe ramones. It's the same 5 or so questions asked relentlessly.

I really shouldn't be so critical because like I said before I've contributed to this mob in the past, and I am not in a position to really make the "muh ol'/ROG/" because I have never been a prominent poster in these threads. I just think it's-at the very least- a little annoying to see such easily answered ( and usually already answered) questions, drive out amazing posters and ultimately ruin the thread for many.

Obviously it's not going to stop everyone from asking the questions, but can maybe make it more tolerable. Plus then we would be able to say read the fucking OP to anyone who asks the same questions.

Not AS flat, but pretty similar. I guess it depends on how you go sizing wise for your pair. I know my pair is legit (bought from a retail store in Milan), so no concerns in that regard. Sales are bananas- I feel like most rick pieces make it to at least 30% off if not 50-60% with many sizes left during sales, so now no one wants to pay retail. I think that the sales happens due to oversupply. Not a secret Rick has expanded his production for the past years, especially for such popular things as Geos and Ramones, which restocks every season.
There is no big sales for seasonal only stuff, or less popular pieces (like jackets, blazers, pants etc).
