How the fuck can I set this sewing machine up?(put the thread in)
My mom died recently and I have nobody to ask

Find the manual online and just read everything & find out YouTube videos on it, if you still don't know what to do then try asking one of your friends or someone you know to teach you everything. I have a Brother vx-950 sewing machine but im waiting on some parts from it.

You also put a bottom thread in the hatch in the front there. This one you just stick out from the hatch and start sewing

does anyone know of a good beginner/intermediate sewing machine. I did basic research on google but everything is just mixed results. women am I right? the best on some blog is okay to another, the worst on another blog is okay to another. I wanna hear what /fa/ thinks. also a place to get nice fabrics like something similar to Raf Simons' dip dye stuff. not sure what to call it, but it looks I guess puffy and soft?

Singer heavy duty 4411 is a workhorse. Strong motor. Top drop bobbin. Not too many stitches but people only really use str8 & zig zag really when making clothes. It gets awesome reviews too

I really like the overcast feature. It is very useful when tapering pants.
