Why people hating when you become more successful than them? Met with some old highschool classmates tonight (I was wearing 2k worth of rick gear so this is relevant to the thread) and they were hating hardcore that I improved a fuckload from when they last saw me and that I make more without a college education at 20 than they'd make after getting their degrees. (I do programming, self taught)

One girl mocked me saying I think I'm better than them now that I wear expensive clothes (forgot I wasn't on /fa/ and people think $800 shoes are insane when somebody asked), got fit and drive a nice car, without me even saying anything to provoke that. I used to be spineless loser in highschool, but I'm past that now and they don't get that I'm not the same person.

I've always said that it depends on your current wardrobe. I went with leather ramones because I already have quite a lot of leather boots so I felt like canvas ramones would be a better. If you don't have any nice footwear then I would probably go with leather though.

It's worth it quality-wise. The canvas is near indestructible but it just doesn't age or feel as nice as the leather ones.

However, if you're mostly wearing jeans I would recommend canvas, as they can be tied tighter and with a slimmer profile. The structure of leather Ramones means that they basically hang open around the top of your foot, and are much chunkier.

Nah you'll be fine with canvas. They have a slimmer silhouette and breathe better in the heat than the leather ones. And unless you're walking through razor blades everyday the canvas uppers will last a lifetime. Plenty of beat-to-shit canvas Ramones on grailed/ebay etc with horrible soles and pristine uppers.

Soooo, mainline pods don't seem to come in a 44, which I would equate to an XS. Are they super rare, or is a 46 the smallest that is made? Would a 46 mainline work on someone who wears an XS in drkshdw?
