I'm 30 so too old for this board, but, how should I cut my hair? I'm a white guy, 5' 10", 150-lbs. I'm not fashionable but I try to at least look like I care. I wear slim cut jeans, a polo shirt, a nice watch, and nice shoes most days. I work as an engineer.
I got a buzz cut for the longest time but my barber recently said I should grow it longer. Probably implying I'm a bit old for a meme cut. Recommended I grow it out like 3 months.
pls help familia.

Post face, impossible to decide otherwise

"short sides and back" is the usual go to answer people on this board give but we could give you a more specific answer if you posted a picture of your face, so we could judge which haircut might suit it better. You can censor out your eyes if you must but the shape must be visible.

Alright, thanks.

you would not look good if you grow it out honestly, there's not much you can do with a hairline receding that much. i'd say keep it at that length or just buzz it. grow a beard instead if you can

Thanks. Yep slowly but surely losing my hair.
I don't want to be that guy that tries to hide it either, I always think that's worse than the balding itself.

yeah it's definitely more noticeable if people try to hide it too, ironically. just focus on other things that can improve your appearance instead, aka hitting the gym or wearing nice clothes etc.

Hey many any age can be /fa/
Had some guy come into my work to check in and he looked like a straight taller Andy warhol, but with better hair and it was all gray. And he was like 50+ friend.

Thank you. I try to look nice. I'd like to be fashionable, but I'd say I need to dress differently in my 30s than I did in my 20s. I don't want to look like one of those people who dress too young for their age, I'd rather dress classic or something. I lost a bunch of weight so hoping to at least wear jeans that fit properly now. It's a start.
