whats the deal with shoelace belts?

use to be this tacky skater fashion thing, and I hope to god it has moved on lol.

I use a hoodie dangly rope thing to hold my boxers up.

My school used to make all the kids that sagged their pants tie them up like that. Forced them to tuck in their shirt too so they looked extra ridiculous. It was hard not to laugh at them.
