I got "teased" for it alot, but I was never really bitter about it. I just wanted to flex desu. I would go to Walmart, bcf, and local thrift shops to find cheap ass fits that looked kinda like what my more well off classmates were wearing but better. My goal was literally to flex on a budget
When I started making my own money at 14, first thing I bought was the loudest pair of Osiris nyc83's I could find (yeah I know not /fa/, but they were in 2008 middle school)
Ever since then I've just wanted to look good and look original.

I like looking good and I prefer being around people who want to look good since it means they appreciate themselves on some levels. For example a fat person smoking on the bus stop is a usual sight and it's fucking obvious they have 0 self-respect left for themselves as human beings.
So being fit and looking good is something everyone should thrive to do atleast a bit. I'm not saying you should dedicate as much time and effort as I am but atleast do something.
