I think the bigger problem you are scratching at is this whole core/wave mentality of dressing that /fa/ has

To me it does not promote a lot of creativity. With a core/wave you have a list of rules. Do's and don'ts. People here often become stuck to that list and let their whole outfit be dictated by it. I am not saying you can't like something in a core/wave. But don't be a slave to it and wear something just because it is a staple to that core/wave when you don't even like it.

I totally agree with this. Instead of "wear vintage tee, tucked into vintage loose pants and skate or dress shoes.", but we should make it like an idea instead of just following rules. Kinda like how people don't copy what tricky ricky wears, just works on the idea of it, putting there own twist on how they would like it to look on them.Now i'm no fashion expert (or even good at dressing), but it's just what i'm saying.
