Has anyone copped the Tubular X's? How bad to the soles crease? Are they comfortable?

These are my boyfriends and he wears them all the time, especially when we go biking for whatever reason. Doesn't look creased really and this maybe 6 months in? He says they're not particularly comfortable though.
