Sorry, I didn't realize when you google canadian maple leaf you get a bunch of flags.

the leaf on the canadian flag is much more broad. the actual species 'canadian maple' has leaves like those on the shoes you posted. They're often confused for pot leaves because they look kinda similar but the ones on your shoes are definitely maple. The 7 is a dead giveaway. Pot will have 9-11, with the extras being small and near the stem.
