To my limited knowledge, the composition for DRKSHDW prisoners are thick felpa that is fuzzy on the reverse (fall/winter) or a thin light-weight jersey (spring/summer). Do DRKSHDW prisoners come in any other compositions? Do mainline prisoners exist?

Curious because I wanted to cop a pair of SS lightweight jersey prisoners since they'd drape better than felpa and reduce the diaper butt effect. But you guys are saying that material gets shredded easily? How bad is it? I don't plan on doing 1km runs in my prisoners will I be OK

It's only my dark dust jersey prisoners that have had problems. Small holes have formed near the pocket seams. However, my black jersey prisoners have been just fine.

the jersey prisoners are lovely! i have them. the fabric is lighter which makes it drapey - it's just a bit more prone to wear because of that. i've had mine for almost a year now and there is just a bit of wear. i wouldn't want them in another material though.

and yes, there are mainline "prisoners" but they are not called that. the design is slightly different but they are still dropcrotch sweats with cuffs.

You can use Yelp to search for a reputable cobbler in your area. Judging from your picture, it should be an easy fix. The cobbler will only have to apply some glue. It won't be too expensive or take too long, either.

I would take the shoes to a place where they actually do it on-site. I suppose it's the same for clothes: there are some tailors you can see do themselves, but some places like dry cleaners will send the clothes elsewhere to be tailored.
