So I have a weird question, I am starting out with a new wardrobe and I want to get new shoes. I am looking around and saw that they have different types like skating, and running or whatever. My question is are those types of shoes like skating shoes and running only used for those specific events? or can I wear a skating shoe casually?
dont wear skating shoes at all. only kids in middle school do

So when I look online for a shoe do I look into the casual section?

sure, depends on the occasion. If youre going to be doing alot of walking, get a pair of running shoes. If youre going to run some errands get a casual shoe. dress shoes etc

I want one when I go out to a friends house, go to the mall, a bar, out walking at a park, things like that.

>can I wear a skating shoe casually?
yes
theyre not as different from casual shoes as the name would imply
often the major difference is just the sole and grip
even still the grip would barely affect when walking
the soles tend to be thinner or more flexible as to give feel of the board
the only other difference i could really see is possibly extended durability considering they are designed for more brutal things
i wear my skate shoes on most days because i skate home from the gym
unless youre walking for miles on end, there is nothing really to worry about
tl;dr:
get whatever you think looks better man

Oh ok, I didn't wanna get some running shoes or skate shoes and everyone looks at me like im a dumbass for getting them and not using them for the intended purpose

or people who actually skate ... but only while actually skating ofc
Dont buy those shoes op.
I did a job in a trailer park and the customer was some 90 yr old gay dude who had those shoes in a diff color.
It was a traumatic day. DC shoes are forever associated with digusting trash people for me
recently copped for $10, do they look ok?

no, they look like shitty imitation converse that cost $10. cant believe you thought they deserved a picture lol
