Speaking of wrap arounds. I am desperately trying to find a FUNCTIONAL pair of sunglasses for my face.

My aviators look great but light gets in the side actually ends up reflecting back to my eyes making it even harder to see. The only shape that seems to fix this is Oakley tier wrap around glasses which look ugly. Help anyone please

I hear the quality is isn't all that great for what you pay for them. They're owned by the largest sunglasses company out there that owns all the brands so they can do whatever the shit they want with prices.

If you want to get classic shapes, you can find pretty much a million different alternatives for cheaper and possibly higher quality.

Personally I was checking out Sun God for a while, but the wayfarers are a bit too wide and high for my face, the other day i stumbled onto that 9five brand i had checked out last summer, and if you're in the US you might check out warby parker.

There really are millions of smaller brands that try to take their place on the market at the moment, but make sure you really research the brand to know how solid the pairs are, so you know how much it would be wise to invest in a pair.

Or you know, cop a second hand pair of ray bans, they're all over the place and at least you don't get jewed as much.

it suits the model because the glasses highlight the jaw's inward-leaning silhouette, it works well because her cheekbones are clearly visible. If you have a skinny look in your face and a defined jaw you could pull it off. Better to try them and take a picture

You dont necessarily need a wrap around. Some lenses have backside anti-reflective which would block the light from reflecting back into your eye.


If you want a functional pair of sunglasses I know Maui Jim sells some good lenses and they have a lot of sport/wrap around models. Some of the wraps are still ugly but they dont have that stupid O on the side like the oakleys do
